Murder, She Wrote

...is just about the best murder mystery show. Angela Lansbury is just fantastic. Jessica Fletcher is just about the most lovable version of Sherlock Holmes. Her attention to detail is inspiring and her polite manners remind me to be a better person every episode I watch. Why this rant about an old and very under appreciated television show? Craig gifted me the second season for my birthday this year (I already have the first). Not to diminish any of the other gifts I've received, I'm grateful for all of them, but this was the most eagerly awaited and well received gift given. So thank you, Craig, for giving me another thing to enjoy throughout the day.

Cookie Monster

...we have one. I don't know HOW he got the cookie, but I was cooking dinner and I ran into him (he likes to follow close behind me while I'm in the kitchen cooking) and I go down to check if he's all right and WHAT do I see...a chocolaty baby. My first reaction was "is it chocolate or poo?" but then I realized that he would be crying if it were poo...not to mention the smell. So I look out in the living room and there are smears of chocolate all over the carpet. As I was freaking out and trying to keep Lucas contained so the mess didn't spread anymore, I managed to get the picture featured below. It's priceless. The entire time I'm trying to clean him off he's looking at me like...mom...I don't understand why you're freaking out. It was adorable...he kept squishing his hands together so that goo was coming through his fingers. The joys of having a little one.

Charmingly Ridiculous

...are probably two words that describe my friend, Clint Edwards. He is going to Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota to become a graduate of Professional Education and writes the quirkiest little essays. I would like to introduce his charmingly ridiculous little essays, although I may warn you, they are a little on the PG to PG-13 side so if you're going to be offended, don't read them.
