A Very Hermit Weekend

So I hear the screams for a new post. Well I guess I should explain why It's taken me so long to post again. This weekend Craig and I were hermits. We went to see the doctor on Friday and he informed us that I am dilated to a one and 75% effaced. The doctor said that Luke probably will not come this week but I probably won't make it to April 1st.
This is both exciting and scary news. Exciting in the sense that we will have a son soon, scary because that means less time before we give ourselves over to our child. We decided a hermit weekend would be appropriate as a last hoorah together.
Some of you may be asking yourselves, what exactly does a hermit weekend consist of? Well, it consisted of us sleeping, cuddling, lounging, watching movies, eating snacks, spending time together, talking, playing XBox, etc. It was nice. I felt a little unproductive, but I wouldn't have changed the time we spent together for the world. We had some incredible chinese food Friday night and stayed up till about three in the morning playing XBox and talking. Saturday we slept in till late, showered, and got back into our pajamas and watched some more movies. We decided we should probably get out and at least see a little bit of what's going on outside our apartment, so we went to Target to walk around and get ideas for what we should have for dinner that night. Target defeated us and by the time we made a decision on what we wanted, it was too late (Who closes a Papa Murphey's at 9:00pm on a Saturday night!!).
So that was our uneventful, but necessary, weekend. We enjoyed every minute of it and are happy we had this last opportunity together before Luke comes along to...ummm...interrupt our happy two-some. :)

Those kind of days are the best! That's cool that you are already starting to dilate. I walked around for a couple of weeks at a 3...very uncomfortable so I hope Baby Luke comes early for ya!
